The First Step Toward Our Vision for Cusco Canine Rescue

At Cusco Canine Rescue, we’re driven by our mission to create a more compassionate world for animals in need. As a cornerstone of our mission, we’ve initiated the Phase One project of our nonprofit, focused on raising funds to acquire a sizable plot of land, approximately 3,000-4,000 square meters, in or around the city of Pisac, Cusco, Peru. This area has numerous street dogs desperately requiring our care and intervention.

The task of procuring land is substantial, but we’re optimistic that with the backing of our community, we can accomplish this significant objective. To successfully carry out this project, we need to:

  • Identify Suitable Land Plots: Research and identify available plots in and around Pisac, assessing each for its potential to meet our requirements.

  • Engage Legal Support: Hire a lawyer to ensure the entire land procurement process is legally sound and conducted appropriately.

  • Fundraising Campaigns: Organize robust fundraising efforts to gather the necessary capital for the land purchase.

  • Collaborate with Local Authorities: Work closely with local government bodies and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project.

  • Plan Development Strategy: Draft a strategic development plan for the land, envisioning the establishment of the necessary facilities and infrastructure for the rescue center.

The success of Phase One is integral to our ability to provide essential care for the street dogs of Pisac, and we are deeply committed to achieving this milestone.
